The B7 (B dominate seventh) basic open guitar chord does not use the low E string.
The second finger frets the 5th (A) string at the second fret.
The first finger frets the 4th (D) string at the first fret.
The third finger frets the 3rd (G) string at the second fret.
The fourth finger frets the 1st high E string at the second fret.

I’d like to know how to finger the B7 chord (ala Jimmy Reed) using the open A string and the seventh on the D string. this done instead of the barre chord on the seventh fret. Keith Richards speaks of this in his new book.
