The D major chord is one of the basic guitar chords everyone needs to learn. You only strum strings 1,2,3 & 4. Stings 5 & 6 are not played (see the ‘X’ on those strings in the chord box).
Use your second finger on string 1, your third finger on string 2 and your first finger on string 3.
